45, 46, 47 The Unbearable (2010–2015)
The solo 45, 46, 47 The Unbearable, choreographed and performed by Ana Sánchez-Colberg with an original sound composition by Kiriakos Spirou and lighting by Pavlos Mavridis is a fragile reflection on a dancer reaching maturity and the desire to carve for herself a space without melancholia, metaphor or memory: a space of new possibilities in the face of constant loss. In 45, 46, 47 The Unbearable, the stage environment is a thick presence of sound that engulfs the performer and makes listening an active-action. In doing this, the solo enters into a dialogue with its audience: the moving body, while it is acting in space, is re-acting within the attentively watching individual, defining a self through listening and touching without striving for a meaning, without requiring a resolution in the end, moving towards a sense in movement, but without ever reaching it.
