Event/Horizons Q(a)R(t) Exhibition closed the international collaborative project that brought together over 69 artists in twenty four cities across the globe during thirteen months from October 2020 to November 2021.
At a time when borders were not yet fully open the exhibition allowed a sustainable exchange of works and creativity through an innovative use of AI technology.
Together with  Estonian performance and design artist Joonas Tagel,  I transformed the everyday QR code into a Q(a)R(t) code.  Each Q(a)R(t) code is a unique image from each work, designed to act as a local window into global lanscaoes.  In an innovative twist of electronic distribution the works only exist in the Q(a)R(t)exhibition, inviting the public to gather in a social and shared space to experience a different proposal towards sustainable and hybrid performance production.  The contact -between the work, the artists and the public- remains unique, simultaneously a one-to-one and with others.
Audience members were asked to bring their phone/tablet and headphones to access the works by scanning each Q(a)R(t)code image.   The works ranged between 13 to 37 minutes, audiences are invited to choose the order and length of their visit.
